The Liberace Museum will celebrate The 12 Days Of Christmas beginning Thursday, December 7, through Saturday, December 18, 1999, with daily performances by local musicians, singers and dancers. Everyone is encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy for the Marine Corps Toys For Tots collection barrels. The toys will be distributed to needy Las Vegas children on Christmas Eve.

Free Admission And Santa In Gold Lamé...

The Liberace museum will offer free admittance to all who bring a new unwrapped toy or nonperishable food donation to the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, December 2, 1999, at 5:00 pm. The tree lighting will take place in The Liberace Plaza parking lot in front The Museum's main entrance. Santa, wearing Liberace's gold lamé suit, will pull the switch to light the giant tree. The Museum will remain open until 8:00pm.

The toys and food will be donated to the Las Vegas Salvation Army for holiday distribution. Local choirs and Musicians will perform Christmas carols before and after the ceremony. The Liberace Museum will feature many of liberace's favorite ornaments and decorations, including his sterling silver sleigh and reindeer centerpiece. Liberace's rare silver music boxes that use discs to play Christmas carols will also be on display.

The second annual Liberace Museum Greeting Card Contest winners will be introduced following the tree lighting ceremony. Artwork from all the entries in the competition will be on display in the Museum.

Christmas cookies and punch will be served on the Museum's Store terrace. Yum yum!
