A memorable day at the Grand Reopening of the Liberace Museum.

109 degree heat.
Siegfried & Roy.
Charro.
Showgirls from the Tropicana.
The Rat Pack.

Here are a few photos from the day.

Here we have a view of the new facade.

I can't even begin to tell you how hot it was. Siegfried & Roy were driven to the stage in Liberace's mirror covered Rolls Royce/VW. With Siegfried & Roy is "Apollo" their white tiger cub (the first born in captivity).

On stage they were greeted by CHARRO!

The new entrance to the costume and jewelry gallery, greatly expanded GIFT SHOP and new Liberace Cafe. Just the place to relax if you feel a bit faint from the heat (or after the sight of the world's largest rhinestone). Notice everyone is huddled in the shade, it was unbelievably hot out there, but we all stayed to greet the "FLYING LIBERACE".
Also spotted at the celebrations, Jamie James, Ray Arnett, Anna Neteece, and Gladys Lucky. And many of the people who have kept the Liberace Museum and Foundation going strong.

The Museum at night.

After a trip like this it's best to sit back and relax with a cup of
"Siegfried & Roy Meditation & Relaxation Aromatherapy Tea"
Yummy!
