Liberace's Famous Car Entrance On Stage

For the first time in his stage career Liberace arrives on stage in a $50,000 Rolls Royce Phantom V limousine.

Liberace used his personal collection of cars for his entrances whenever the venue was large enough. In addition to being very showy the cars also had the function of carrying Lee's capes and coats off stage.

He had a Volkswagen Beetle with a customized Rolls hood used in his later shows. You can still see it at the Liberace Museum!
