Vince Cardell autographed LP
Vince Cardell is the most well known of Liberace's protégés. Liberace coached him with his piano playing and eventually asked Vince to perform on stage. Usually in matching outfits and pianos. One of my favorite duets with Lee and Vince is their rendition of "Brazil". It's really quite a sight to see the two of them playing those mirrored covered pianos.
I have two autographed items from Vince. First, a copy of Vince's first LP "Liberace presents Vince Cardell".
I just love this cover, very 70s. And the hair! Really brings me back.
I also have an autographed 8-track tape. It looks like it spent some time in a glove compartment.
Vince continued to perform after Liberace's death and has a very successful career. He still performs in Las Vegas and in Nashville at Opryland. If you want to know more about Vince check out his Web Site listed in the "Links" section.
