Barbra Streisand appeared as part of the Liberace show at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas and Harrah's Lake Tahoe.
Bab's was not well received at first. Her low key wardrobe and cracks about New York were not too appealing to the Liberace audience. Well, I'm not surprised, just look at that dress. Oh my lord!
It wasn't until she was introduced by Liberace as one of his "new discoveries" that she became accepted by the crowd.
Barbra was the only female vocalist Liberace did not accompany on the piano.
Hmmm!
I wonder who made that decision?
